Senator Rosilicie Ochoa Bogh (R–Yucaipa) has honored Wynona Duvall as the 19th Senate District’s Woman of the Year 2026.

“I am honored to recognize Wynona Duvall as Senate District 19’s Woman of the Year 2026,” said Senator Ochoa Bogh. “Wynona’s career at IBM reflects her strong leadership and professionalism, but it is her service to the Calimesa community and region that truly sets her apart. From serving as a former council member to volunteering with organizations that support youth, education, and local businesses, she has consistently put others first. Her dedication, integrity, and heart for service make her richly deserving of this recognition.”

Wynona Duvall retired from IBM after a distinguished career in Silicon Valley, where she served as a Service Delivery Manager. In 2016, she and her husband Kenneth Duvall moved to Calimesa, where she quickly became an active and engaged member of the community.

A former Calimesa council member, Wynona has long been dedicated to community and corporate volunteerism. She has supported over 15 organizations including the Boys and Girls Club, Habitat for Humanity, the Calimesa Breakfast Lions, the Calimesa Chamber of Commerce, and the Crafton Hills College Foundation. Through her service, she has helped expand opportunities for youth, support local businesses, and strengthen educational programs in the region.

“I am deeply honored to receive this recognition from Senator Ochoa Bogh,” said Wynona Duvall. “When my husband and I moved to Calimesa, we were welcomed with open arms. Giving back to this community has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life. I share this honor with my family and with the many volunteers who work every day to make our community stronger.”

Wynona is married to Kenneth Duvall, and they have two daughters; Shavonne and Enjoli.

The Woman of the Year award is given annually by each California legislator in their district, celebrates California’s extraordinary women. The first recognition was held in 1987 to help commemorate Women’s History Month. The award has become an annual Capitol tradition to salute women who have done outstanding community service.
