In honor of Black History Month, Dignity Health St. Bernardine Medical Center dedicated its weekly Farmer’s Market to highlighting local Black entrepreneurs. The Black History Month Farmer’s Market & Resource Fair featured a number of local vendors of color and community organizations. The Black History Farmer’s Market included a number of products offered by Black vendors including: health & wellness products, Caribbean and Southern cuisine, spices, essential oils and body scrubs, clothing by Black designers, and resources from local nonprofits and community groups. The Black History Month Farmer’s Market was organized by Tammy Jackson and Christian Starks of Dignity Health.
