Making Hope Happen Gala: NFL Star Alexander Mattison to Attend

The Making Hope Happen Foundation announced that NFL running back Alexander Mattison, a San Bernardino native and San Bernardino High School graduate, will attend its upcoming Making Hope Happen Gala. The Gala themed Denim and Diamonds is scheduled for Thursday, May 14 at the Hilltop Banquet Facility located at 670 N. Kendall Drive in San Bernardino. The event is scheduled to begin at 6:00pm.
Mattison’s connection to the Foundation dates back to his senior year of high school, when he received a Making Hope Happen scholarship. He now gives back by funding two scholarships annually for San Bernardino students through the organization.
“Alexander’s journey reflects exactly why we do this work,” said Niki Dettman, Chief Executive Officer at Making Hope Happen Foundation. “His continued investment in local students is making a real impact.”
Gala attendees will have the opportunity to bid on signed Alexander Mattison memorabilia during the event’s live and silent auctions, with proceeds supporting scholarships and student success programs.
The Making Hope Happen Gala is a key fundraising event supporting education, mentorship, and college access initiatives for San Bernardino students.
